Saudi Scholarship (Ibtiaath) 2026-2027: Tracks and How to Apply

A scholarship cannot proceed without a suitable university admission. Here is what you need.

Tracks and application platforms

According to the Ministry of Education, applications for the Excellence and Health Specialties tracks go through the Safeer 2 platform and are open all year. The Qabool platform (uap.sa) was launched by the Ministry on 28 May 2025 as a national platform to unify admissions.

General requirements

• A Saudi citizen of good conduct
• Admission from an accredited institution under the track's conditions
• A specialization within those set for the year
• Full-time study and passing the selection process

Additional conditions apply by track, country and academic year (such as the preparatory year and specific countries' conditions) and change every year, so check the official conditions page before applying.

Unconditional admission

Some tracks require unconditional university admission. That is exactly what we specialize in for the US, UK, Canada and Australia.
