Top 30 Universities in the World: Explore the Universities Included in the Pioneers Track (2026–2027 Update)

This is a list of thirty educational institutions recommended by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Scholarship Program for international study. In the 2026–2027 update, the list includes 19 universities in the United States, 4 universities in the United Kingdom, 3 universities in the People’s Republic of China, and one university each in Canada, Switzerland, Japan, Singapore, and France. The Pioneers Track targets students seeking bachelor’s and master’s degrees and aims to send students abroad across various fields, covering all majors, as studying at such universities is intended to contribute to developing human capital, achieving sustainable development, and supporting the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

In reality, obtaining academic admission from one of the universities on the Pioneers Track is extremely difficult. Fortunately, however, it is not impossible. By browsing our website, you will learn more about what is required to apply to Pioneers Track universities.

The process is quite simple: all you need to do is research the application requirements through the official websites of these universities (we have included links to the official websites under each university’s name in this article) or through the Common App (create your Common App account only if you want to pursue a bachelor’s degree in the United States). Prepare your academic certificates, the required English proficiency certificate, and the results of any required tests such as the SAT or GRE. You should also prepare strong recommendation letters and personal statements that stand out to university admissions committees, and then submit your application before the announced deadline.

Acceptance rates at Pioneers Track universities are low. Therefore, rejection is a possibility, but who knows—you may be among those who receive an admission offer.
