Bachelor's
There is no application fee for international applicants, who can apply directly or through authorised agents via the online portal. Detailed entry requirements are per course.

English language requirements
Undergraduate generally IELTS 6.0 (5.5 for non-SELT tests), higher for some: Law, Philosophy and Religion, English Literature/Creative Writing 6.5 (6.0); nursing and education QTS 7.0. Postgraduate taught typically 6.0-6.5 (some 7.0); research 6.0-7.0. TOEFL iBT, Duolingo, PTE and Cambridge are also accepted; equivalent scores were not read.
Fees and cost of living
International fees per year 2026-27. Undergraduate: GBP 18,000 (Band A arts/humanities/education/law), 19,000 (B business/finance), 20,000 (C biology/computer science), 21,000 (D engineering/design/psychology/nursing etc.). Postgraduate taught: 19,000 / 20,500 / 22,500 / 26,000 (Bands A-D). Postgraduate research: 18,500 / 19,500 / 21,000 / 24,500.

The international page states no deadline and mentions a January 2027 intake. Accommodation deadlines: undergraduate 31 July, postgraduate 7 August.
Scholarships and financial aid
Undergraduate: Vice-Chancellor GBP 10,000; Dean's GBP 6,000 a year; International minimum GBP 4,000 a year; Alumni/Family an extra GBP 1,000 a year. Taught postgraduate: Vice-Chancellor 10,000, Dean's 6,000, International minimum 4,000, plus Refugee, Chevening Partnership and Commonwealth Master's. Research: Dean's 20% discount, Heads of School 10%, China Scholarship Council, Commonwealth and others.

Campus life and housing
Accommodation is guaranteed for international students under conditions: undergraduates must make Bangor their firm choice or hold an offer and apply by 31 July; full-time postgraduates starting in September on the Bangor campus must be unconditional before 7 Aug and apply for halls by 7 Aug. Rooms are all-inclusive (bills, Wi-Fi, gym); prices were not read.
